Grants in this area are focused on protecting wilderness areas and supporting grass-roots organizations that are involved in keeping our rivers, bays and coastal waters clean and safe. The Foundation continues to support technical development in the area of landscape analysis and water quality monitoring that will benefit a broad range of conservation activities. Conservation Law Foundation, Boston, MA. $10,000 to support the New England Legal Food Hub.
Feather River Land Trust, Quincy, CA. $10,000 to support the transaction team.
League to Save Lake Tahoe, South Lake Tahoe, CA. $2,000 to support the Community Education and Engagement Program.
The Nature Conservancy, San Francisco, CA. $15,000 to support the NatureNet Science Fellows program.
Peninsula Open Space Trust, Palo Alto, CA. $10,000 to support the Farmland Futures Intiative.
Stanford Precourt Institute for Energy, Stanford, CA. $10,000 to support post doc work on radiative cooling for medical storage.
Stanford Woods Institute for the Environment, Stanford, CA. $15,000 to support the Codiga Resource Recovery Center.
Surfrider Foundation, San Clemente, CA. $15,000 to support the Smartfin program.
